Plain Valley

Located in the charming town of Plain, Leavenworth Sleigh Rides takes visitors on a 40 to 50 minute ride through fields and forests. Take your choice between a classic one-horse open sleigh that’s perfect for a group of six people, or larger sleighs for groups of 12 to 16. 8 miles from Leavenworth is the Eagle Creek Horse Ranch. Once snow covers the landscape, Eagle Creek brings out old-style sleighs pulled by Belgian or Percheron draft horses. Red-Tail Canyon Farm

3 miles from Leavenworth is Red-Tail Canyon Farm, a working draft horse ranch that offers authentic sleigh rides throughout the Winter. The sleighs were built by owner, Ross Frank, using traditional designs with undercarriages and runners from the 1920s.
