Lake Wenatchee Trails

The pristine wilderness surrounding Lake Wenatchee is filled with a variety of nordic trail networks. With five areas to choose from, skiers can explore trails that pass by rivers and lakes while offering breathtaking views of the Cascade mountains. Plain Valley Trails

During the Winter, the peaceful meadows of the Plain Valley become a nordic skiers paradise. The 15 miles of trails include routes that range from easy to difficult. After traversing through the snow covered landscape, skiers can enjoy a meal or some drinks at the Old Mill Cafe located directly across the street from the trail entrance. Leavenworth Trails

Leavenworth offers 16 miles of groomed nordic trails spread across three unique locations. The trails are operated by the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club. Visit to purchase tickets and get up-to-date information about trail conditions.

The Icicle River Trails are a beginner-friendly location, but beginner and advanced skiers alike will enjoy the serene setting as they take in views of the river and Icicle Canyon. Similarly, the Golf Course trail network offers beautiful river views but with more intermediate terrain. Finally, the trails located at Leavenworth Ski Hill are the perfect place for experienced nordic skiers to wind through dense forests and navigate varied terrain. Even if you don’t own gear, rentals are available at a variety of locations.

Lake Chelan Trails

A short drive from the town of Chelan is the Echo Ridge trailhead. Lake Chelan’s Echo Ridge Nordic area is perched high above the valley floor, with views that stretch for miles. The area’s dry climate can sometimes mean that Echo opens a little later than other areas, but when
