Project Description

Autumn is a festive time of year in Leavenworth. A time when the leaves change from bright greens, to vibrant hues of red and yellow. A time when the mountain air feels more crisp and the sunshine seems a little brighter.

Located along the Cascade Loop Scenic Highway, Leavenworth and the nearby areas along Highway 2 offer some of the most spectacular and picturesque viewing opportunities for fall colors in the entire state of Washington. From short walks around Front Street Park and Blackbird Island, to short drives along Icicle Creek Road and through Tumwater Canyon, it’s easy to find a sea of colors making their annual display.

Every year when the days get shorter and temperatures get cooler, the landscape comes alive. Make sure to put Leavenworth on your calendar for next fall and enjoy the views!
