Wenatchee is the largest city in Chelan County and the economic center of North Central Washington.  This sunny city on the Columbia River has been voted one of the best places to live and recreate in the country. In the summer the river is filled with families and friends waterskiing and pleasure boating the warm waters and cyclists and runners make a beeline to the 13 mile Apple Capitol Loop trail,  one of the best urban public spaces in the state.

The foothills of Wenatchee offer wide open vistas with opportunities for biking,  hiking,  and horseback riding just minutes from the city.  Skiers make the short trip to Mission Ridge’s sunny slopes,  visible above town.  Don’t drive-take the city transit bus to the hill!

Wenatchee hosts a number of large chain retailers, as well as a strong compliment of small businesses dedicated to providing quality services.  After a busy day diners can satisfy their hunger at a number of restaurants popular with locals.  Not only serving the city’s needs,  Wenatchee’s merchants,  hotels and eateries serve the entire three county area.

Pangborne airport in East Wenatchee has daily Alaska Airlines flights from Seattle;  rental cars are available at the airport.  Wheels down to fun in 60 minutes or less!
