Before you go
Farm stands, tasting rooms and markets keep seasonal hours that shift with the harvest. Call ahead, or check the business own site the morning you go.
Farmers markets operate one or two days a week, usually spring through fall. Build the day around the market, then fill in around it.
Summer gets hot in the valley, and you will buy more fruit than you planned to.
Smaller stands may be cash only. A little cash saves a trip back.
