One of the Pacific Northwest’s premier stargazing gatherings, the Washington State Star Party (formerly the Table Mountain Star Party) draws amateur astronomers to dark, remote skies for five nights of telescopes, talks and the Milky Way overhead. The 2026 event is held at Jameson Lake in the Moses Coulee — about a two-hour drive from Chelan County and a great add-on for visitors chasing clear, dark skies.
