97 Rock House is a travel stop and small-batch coffee roaster on US 97 near Blewett Pass, at mile marker 178. It was founded as a midway destination for people traveling over the pass, and the owners call it the destination before your destination.
The building and landscape were designed around the rugged natural setting, with an outdoor fireplace, a deck and, as the owners put it, hidden dinosaur fossils. Inside, the menu features espresso drinks, paninis, ice cream and growler fills of local beer, alongside four house-roasted coffee blends.
Coffee can be bought in person or through the online store, and a lodge suite next door is available for overnight stays. The venue can also be rented for events. The team describes it as a place for stretching your legs and enjoying the simple beauty of nature.
