Lakeview Drive In is a walk-up drive-in beside Don Morse Park on the Manson Highway in Chelan, near the marina and RV park. It has been a Chelan landmark since 1957 and is family owned, run by several generations of the Mack family.
The famous french fries are the headline, and they can be ordered by the bucket with the house Mack's Seasoning Salt. The grill turns out fresh burgers with homemade tartar sauce, and the menu also has creamy milkshakes and hand-dipped or soft serve ice cream. Deck seating comes with a lake view, and service is fast and friendly.
The drive-in is seasonal and closes for the winter, so check the website for current dates. When it is open, online ordering is available. In warm months a separate Outpost concession inside Don Morse Park offers delivery from the drive-in, plus slushies, ice cream and snacks.
