Rootwood Cider Taproom – at the Orchard

Rootwood Cider Co. makes orchard-crafted hard cider on the Koenig family's apple orchard in Manson. The family has grown apples there for more than 100 years, and the fifth generation has added apple varieties grown for cider.

The Orchard Tasting Room is at the cider production facility and is open year-round, offering views into the orchard and cider making. Visitors can taste, order glass pours and fill growlers. Fire tables can be booked, and guided orchard tours are available.

The website notes that services have moved from the former downtown Manson location to the orchard. Outdoor shelters are dog friendly. A recent release, Pollinator, blends pollinator apples with local honey. Cider clubs and online ordering are available.
